UV Lioness VST plugin for Decent Sampler
A downloadable VST plugin for Windows, macOS, and Linux
This is my first commercial VST plugin for Decent Sampler, so I wanted it to be a simple yet functional instrument originating from my country.
La Lioness ("Leona" in its original language) is a percussive stringed chordophone with 4 strings that serves as the bass instrument in Son Jarocho. It is played by striking it with a plectrum, which is usually a carved piece of bone or bull horn.
Regarding the UV Lioness, it features 1 preset with various sound options and effects, such as:
- Filter
- Reverb
- Delay
- Delay Time
- Feedback
It is divided into 4 octaves (C-1 to B2, 1 octave per string) and has 4 switch keys (for changing techniques and tunings).
Techniques (C3 and C#3):
- Picking
- Percussion
Tunings (D3 and D#3):
- C2 D2 G2 C3
- G2 A2 D3 G3
